This updo was a style I was testing out. I was looking for more of a classic, soft, and old fashioned style. I envision this being worn by bride wearing a 20′s style wedding dress, floor length, silk and form fitting.
With this cut I wanted a Betty Page look. The fringe area in this kind of a cut can be shaped in a triangle with the point reaching the center of the fringe at the nose. The bangs can also be as is shown in this photo or even rounded upwards in more of an umbrella shape. The cut is a 0 degree all the way around.
This is a basic perm. I decided to leave the fringe (bangs) as is and perm the remainder of the hair. The results are shown from all angles.
This haircut began with a natural medium brown haircolor and hair length just below the jawline. The cut was a standard 45 degree with fringe in the front at 0 degrees.
The two tones of color give the cut extra added dimenson.
